Woodlake Entertainment, based in Alton Illinois, is making a live action feature of the H.P Lovecraft short story ReAnimator.

Produced by Andrew Trapani (Haunting in Connecticut) 6-time Emmy nominated Jeff Lewis and Keith Previte (Borderland) Woodlake intends to make a serious, modern horror film of the classic story.  John Simmons and Roger Lewis will executive produce for Woodlake, which is fully funding the project.  Adam Simon (Salem, Haunting in Connecticut) and Tim Metcalf (Haunting in Connecticut, Bones) are on board to pen the script.  Woodlake Entertainment is a new venture owned by Simmons and Jeff Lewis.  In the vein of a modern version of Hammer Studios, Woodlake looks to bring the classic horror genre to a new level with an upcoming series of frightening new projects.
